Marin Flu Surveillance Data

Marin Influenza Surveillance

Marin County Department of Health and Human Services tracks influenza activity by analyzing laboratory testing data and visits to local emergency departments for influenza-like illness.  During the influenza season, we produce an influenza surveillance report that summarizes influenza activity in Marin County, California, and the United States.
We usually observe a peak in influenza activity between late December and February.

Current Marin Influenza Activity:  2017-2018 Influenza Season

We will release three Influenza Surveillance Update reports following shifts in influenza activity during approximately late 2017, early 2018, and spring 2018. If any unexpected influenza activity occurs, we will release additional reports.
